“Hearing aids have made an enormous impact on my life—simply put, I couldn’t live without them.”
Many years ago, my golf partner pointed out that I hadn’t heard a word he said. I soon discovered I was missing a lot of conversations around me. After seeing an audiologist and learning I had severe hearing loss, I decided to get hearing aids, which have been life-changing. Over the years, my hearing has degraded to the point where I can’t hear without them. Meeting with an audiologist truly changed my life.
I didn’t have any fears before reaching out. My first impression of the clinic was how professional they were. After years of mistakes and bad setups at the VA Clinic, I sought out a private audiologist, and Dr. Hill is the best I’ve worked with. She can truly help if you’re having hearing problems.
Hearing aids have made an enormous impact on my life—simply put, I couldn’t live without them. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say if you’re struggling to hear the TV, the radio, or people speaking around you, get checked at Hearing Health Clinic. You’ll be thankful you did. My favorite thing about the clinic is the competent and professional staff, and Dr. Hill, who is the best.

“I believe I was suffering from depression due to my hearing loss, and getting hearing aids has greatly improved my quality of life and relationships.”
I realized I had a hearing challenge during my work as a TV Production Manager when I began missing certain audio problems that others noticed. People would look at me and ask, "Can’t you hear that?" It was embarrassing and frustrating. Since my dad has hearing loss, it wasn’t a complete surprise, especially when my audio test results mirrored his.
One of my biggest concerns before seeking help was the cost. My first hearing aids were hand-me-downs from my dad, but when it was time to replace them, I knew I needed a higher affordable.
My first impression of the clinic was how friendly, open, and concerned they were. My second impression was realizing, "Hey, these people know what they’re doing!" Hearing aids have had a significant impact on my life. They allowed me to work a few years longer in my field and, more importantly, improved my ability to communicate with loved ones and participate in conversations. I believe I was suffering from depression due to my hearing loss, and getting hearing aids has greatly improved my quality of life and relationships.
To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say, "Just do it!" Find out what’s going on. Dr. Heidi and her staff will help you figure out the next step, whether that’s getting hearing aids or seeking further assessment. My favorite thing about the clinic is how much they care about getting to know you and understanding your situation—and of course, the Werther’s candy on the desk!

“This is an emotional journey, and you need to feel supported—I found that support here."
In my 40s, while working as a practicing nurse, I first realized I had a hearing challenge. It became difficult to pick up the blood pressure numbers with my stethoscope. My dad had hearing loss, but I wasn’t ready to address mine.
I initially worked with my ENT doctor for years but became frustrated with the quality of my hearing aids. A friend recommended seeing an audiologist, so I went to Dr. Hill and have never regretted it. My first impression of the clinic was how supportive, patient, and understanding everyone was. Hearing loss is a deeply emotional experience, and I needed time to grieve and process it. I feel confident I have the best hearing aids for my needs.
Wearing hearing aids has improved my life, though there are still moments where it is challenging to hear. I’ve learned ways to make the most of it. To anyone considering addressing their hearing, I’d say this is an emotional journey, and you need to feel supported—I found that support here. My favorite thing about the clinic is how helpful and patient they are, and, of course, that I get to feed their chocolate addiction!

“Since getting hearing aids, my life has improved drastically, and I love being able to control them through my phone, it’s awesome”
I realized that I had a hearing challenge when I felt lost as my communication deteriorated and my outdoor activities were disrupted. Despite this realization, I approached the Hearing Health Clinic without any preconceived fears or concerns. My first impressions were very positive; the team was both professional and friendly. Since getting hearing aids, my life has improved drastically, and I love being able to control them through my phone, it’s awesome. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I would say, "Go for it; you will not be disappointed." My favorite aspect of working with Hearing Health Clinic is the friendly atmosphere and their vast knowledge.

“My hearing aids have significantly improved my ability to participate in group activities and enhanced my opportunities to engage in music.”
Realizing I had a hearing challenge was something that snuck up on me over time. As a bass player and musician, I know I contributed to my own hearing loss. Heidi and her team have helped me tremendously, enabling me to continue with my music and manage the day-to-day challenges of normal life. It’s not perfect, but I truly believe it’s the best it can be, and that’s thanks to this amazing group.
I didn’t have any fears before contacting them, and my first impression was how friendly and genuinely concerned everyone was about me. Every time I come in, they know me by name. My hearing aids have significantly improved my ability to participate in group activities and enhanced my opportunities to engage in music.
To anyone considering addressing their hearing loss, I’d say: quit considering it and just go do it. Period. My favorite thing about working with Hearing Health Clinic is feeling like part of the family every time I walk in. I’d hug every one of them because they truly care.

“I’m glad to be on their patient list.”
I knew I had hearing loss but didn’t realize how bad it was. I frequently had to ask my husband to repeat himself, and eventually, I relented and decided to find out if I needed hearing aids. My biggest concern was the cost of hearing aids. Since I already had other physical deficits, I was less concerned about how I would appear to others with them. My first impressions of Hearing Health Clinic were surprising—I hadn’t realized the degree of my hearing loss or how hard I had been working to hear. I was also surprised at how much easier it was to listen with hearing aids.
I found my hearing aids comfortable and had a very short adjustment period. While I sometimes wish I could hear without difficulty, I know that likely won’t happen, so I don’t think about it. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I would recommend Hearing Health Clinic. Over-the-counter hearing aids might work for some, but for people like me who wait until they have no other choice, I’m glad I made the decision to come here. My favorite part of working with the clinic is the staff. They know who I am, call me by name, remember any previous issues and if they were resolved, and always assist however they can. The staff are skilled, easy to like, and genuinely honest. I’m glad to be on their patient list.

“See an actual audiologist—not an over-the-counter provider—so you can be properly fitted.”
I realized I had a hearing challenge when I was pretty young, but I didn’t do anything about it until I got remarried, and it started driving my wife nuts. My main concern when seeking help was avoiding bulky hearing aids. After my fitting, I was overwhelmed by how much I could suddenly hear—I hadn’t realized how much I’d been missing. Dr. Hill reassured me that my brain would adjust, and it did. My first impression of the clinic was mixed. Initially, I didn’t like what Dr. Hill had to say because I didn’t think my hearing was that bad, but she was patient and gave me time to process. Now, wearing hearing aids has made my life so much better. I wear them 16-18 hours a day, though I’d love to see improvements in the app interface and Bluetooth connectivity. To anyone considering help for their hearing, I’d say go in and figure it out. See an actual audiologist—not an over-the-counter provider—so you can be properly fitted. My favorite part of working with Hearing Health Clinic is that follow-ups and supplies are included in the hearing aid price—I don’t have to worry about surprise bills later.

“Hearing aids have made my life so much better by allowing me to hear again.”
I first realized I had a hearing challenge when I couldn’t hear my kids talking and found myself constantly saying, "what." It was frustrating for both them and me. I felt like an "old deaf lady" and wanted to hear my grandbabies crying and laughing—there’s no better sound than a baby’s laugh.
I was excited to get my hearing tested so I could hear properly again. My first impression of the clinic was how warm and fun you ladies were. Hearing aids have made my life so much better by allowing me to hear again.
To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say, "WHY WAIT? DO IT!!!" You couldn’t ask for better people to work with.

“If I don’t wear my hearing aids, I miss life.”
For years, I was in complete denial that I was missing many things in life. When every conversation I started included, “What did you say?” I realized it was time to act.
I was concerned I was walking into an “old people’s world.” Education from the clinic and guidance on using technology got rid of those fears in a hurry. My first impression of the clinic was the really friendly staff and how welcoming they were.
If I don’t wear my hearing aids, I miss life. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say,

“Get there as soon as you can so life can be fuller when you’re hearing what’s going on."
During an ongoing education class, every time the speaker turned or moved to one side, I lost their voice and couldn’t take notes. It was incredibly frustrating.
My main concern before contacting the clinic was the cost of hearing aids. They helped me get a no-interest, one-year loan, so paying for them was no trouble. My first impression of the clinic was how friendly, smiling, and easy-going everyone was, making it comfortable to be there. They were also very professional.
Hearing aids have made a big difference—I can now hear conversations I used to miss and feel more included, especially with family and friends. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say, "Get there as soon as you can so life can be fuller when you’re hearing what’s going on." My favorite thing about the clinic is how it feels like visiting family when you’re there.

“Hearing aids have made a big impact—I now hear things I was totally unaware of before.”
“I realized I had a hearing challenge when family members and my wife kept asking if I had heard them.
I didn’t have any fears before contacting the clinic since our family has a history of hearing loss. My first impression of the clinic was how friendly and helpful the staff were.
Hearing aids have made a big impact—I now hear things I was totally unaware of before. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say, "Do not wait." I didn’t realize how much I was missing. My favorite thing about the clinic is how the staff goes above and beyond with any questions or concerns.”

"Go, you won’t be sorry."
When I realized I couldn’t hear my grandson, I knew I had a problem. He’s very soft-spoken, but I couldn’t hear him at all. Second, I found myself trying to guess what people were saying, often embarrassing myself with completely off-the-wall answers.
My biggest concern before contacting the clinic was vanity—I worried about people seeing the hearing aid. My first impression of the clinic was that they were very fun!
Hearing aids have made a huge difference—I can HEAR! To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say, "Go, you won’t be sorry." My favorite thing about the clinic is how they treat you like family.

“Dr. Hill and the caring, knowledgeable team at Hearing Health Clinic will guide you to the devices that are best for your needs.”
I first realized I had a hearing challenge in my 40s, and I was embarrassed about it—I thought I was too young to be losing my hearing. Although I had been wearing hearing aids for several years, they were no longer effective, and I still felt self-conscious about my hearing loss and the aids themselves. My family had to yell and repeat themselves constantly just to communicate with me. My first impression of Hearing Health Clinic was excellent—I loved the friendly atmosphere and the welcoming staff. Dr. Hill’s knowledge, humor, and professionalism immediately put me at ease, even though I’m not the most compliant patient. Her demeanor helped me realize the importance of improving my hearing.
Now, at 87 years old, I’m thankful every day for my current hearing aids. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to participate in family interactions. My hearing loss is significant, and before these aids, I was missing 85% of conversations at parties, gatherings, and even simple outings like restaurants or movies. To anyone considering help for their hearing, I’d say you owe it not just to yourself but also to your loved ones to seek the best hearing aids possible. Dr. Hill and the caring, knowledgeable team at Hearing Health Clinic will guide you to the devices that are best for your needs. My favorite part of working with the clinic is feeling respected and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process, as well as during ongoing care for my hearing needs.

“This is the place to go.”
I come from a family with a history of hearing loss, so I wasn’t surprised when I started experiencing it myself. My priority was to find a good audiologist to guide me through the process. While living in Wisconsin, I worked with a wonderful audiologist for 30 years. After moving back to Minnesota, I was anxious to find another qualified professional, which I did with Heidi. She has incredible concern for her patients and their well-being—thank you, Heidi! I had no fears when reaching out, but my first impression of her came after hearing her speak about hearing loss at Havenwood. I knew she was the right person for me. I wear my hearing aids, and they are great. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I’d say this is the place to go. My favorite thing about working with the clinic is the professionalism, care, and concern shown to patients by the entire staff.

“I heard birds chirping for the first time in ages and knew I had made the right decision.”
After undergoing chemotherapy, I developed tinnitus, a known side effect of the treatment. Not long after, I noticed that while I could hear people talking, I had trouble understanding their words. That’s when I knew I needed help with my hearing. Initially, I was apprehensive because my mother-in-law had experienced difficulties with her hearing aids, such as echoing, and I worried I might face similar issues. However, my first impressions of Hearing Health Clinic quickly eased my concerns. The office was bright and inviting, the staff were incredibly friendly, and Dr. Hill was comforting, understanding, and kind. My anxiety disappeared soon after I arrived. I’ll never forget the first time I wore my hearing aids and stepped outside Dr. Hill’s office—I heard birds chirping for the first time in ages and knew I had made the right decision. Hearing sounds I hadn’t heard in so long was so great. To anyone considering visiting the clinic, I’d say, "Go for it!" You won’t be sorry—it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. My favorite part of working with them is the trust I feel, knowing they are there for me if I ever need help and that I’m in good hands.

“If you want to hear, this clinic is the place to go.”
I realized I had a hearing challenge when I found myself left out of almost all daily activities. When I decided to seek help, I could hardly wait to go, knowing I would finally be able to hear. My first impressions of the clinic were excellent—their knowledge, the way I was treated, and how they truly listened to me stood out. While I’m still waiting for my custom hearing aid to be made, I can hardly wait to hear again. To anyone concerned about their hearing, I would say it’s absolutely worth the trip. If you want to hear, this clinic is the place to go. Trust me, I’ve tried everything, and they are miracle workers. Hearing is priceless, and I encourage you to call and find out how much they can help you. My favorite part of working with them has been their knowledge and the thorough way they determined what would help me. They are the best, and I am super thankful for their help.
